Who Am I?

11/02/2015 (Monday) @ 6:12 PM

I AM

That is a good question.  Am I who others want me to be?  Or, am I the person I want to be or enjoy being at this present time?  For the sake of this assignment, I am not who others want me to be.  I am!  I am a loving wife to Spencer.  I am a great mom to my three beautiful children; Michael Warren, Tracie Olivia, and Morgan Sabrina.  Because I have raised well-behaved, intelligent, and self-motivated young adults, I will say...I am loyal, dedicated, focused, concerned, selfless, motivating, supporting, compassionate, and most importantly, loving.

In regards to qualities I possess, I see in myself, and know I am capable of giving back.  I am ambitious, a fighter, non-judgmental, genuine, caring, a good listener, encourager, resilient, and a good leader.

I am a person that focused in the good in everyone.  I am sensitive to other's feelings, observant, and believe in positive change.  I work hard in my volunteerism, and organize so that the positive can hopefully have a lasting effect on others and in turn, become a ripple effect for the greater good.

Even though I write all this, I must, and will admit, I am not sure how much of what I am writing I actually believe most of the time.  I have to repeat all of these positive merits to myself numerous times of the day, keep note cards on my wall and in my handbag with positive affirmations because this is what people tell me about myself.

I just have to believe it again, believe in myself, and know one day I will truly believe.
